Well the pictures actually speak for themselves. We went on the Maid of the Mist boat tour from the US side (didn't make it over to the Canada side) I can't even explain how gorgeous and breathtaking this was. It was so loud but you take a few steps away and it surprisingly quiets down. I could come back here again and again and just sit and watch. It is not only the Falls but the rapids and streams that lead up to them that are amazing! Definitely something that you should see if you get the opportunity.
And to top it off we met two very sweet sisters (Courtney and Kelsey) who are in the Buffalo French congregation. They had 30 different languages on the cart. What a highlight to the end of our day.
Cool! The pictures are amazing. Thanks for catching us up, April. I love seeing what you guys are doing. Especially because you guys are going to be pretty busy once you check in to Warwick. I love running into our brothers and sisters and that feeling of instant family you get :)
ReplyDeleteI agree. The water is such a beautiful green, and the smooth part seems so peaceful. I agree, April. What a marvelous Creator. You two are braver than me. I would never get into that tiny boat with those huge rapids, etc, TOO SCARY !!! Your pictures are better than any I have ever seen. the water seems so clear and sparkly==reminds me of the Scriptures and the description of the breast piece, Jehovah's Throne, likened to "a rainbow like an emerald"( Rev 4:3), and the "river of life"==breathe taking. And, I like the tree lined path. You guys really found a treasure, and to top it off Jehovah's servants. Picture perfect. I know it is raining there, so have a safe and enjoyable drive to your new assignment and say HI to all we know. Much love, Mom
ReplyDeletethat last water picture is probably the way the Ark looked during the flood... so tiny in comparison to the majestic waters
ReplyDeleteAwesome pictures, I wanna go! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the pictures and updates! I'm glad you made it safely and I'm so excited to hear what happens after check-in! love, me
